Stokesay Court is delighted to be a key venue for outdoor performances during the 2021 Ludlow Fringe Festival.

From an afternoon performance of Peter Rabbit in the gardens, or a lazy afternoon on the lawns enjoying the music of The Film Orchestra, through to Macbeth in the front courtyard with the dramatic backdrop of this imposing Victorian mansion, there is bound to be something for everyone.

Events so far announced on various dates from Sunday the 20th of June to Monday the 12th of July 2021: Peter Rabbit, King Lear, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Film Orchestra and Macbeth

Step into Halloween weekend at Stokesay Court with a chance to stroll round the gardens, follow the pumpkin trail and warm up with seasonal soup, hot sausage sandwiches and indulgent hot chocolate.

Stokesay Court gardens will open once again for some autumn entertainment on the 31st of October and 1st of November 2020.
Put on your wellies and warm clothes and come for a good walk to clear the Halloween cobwebs, then enjoy a home made seasonal picnic with hot soup and tasty treats.
Feel free to come in fancy dress if you like and seek out the pumpkins on our trail for a bit of fun.

Based on the best selling book by Ian McEwan, the film starred Keira Knightley, James McAvoy, Saoirse Ronan and Benedict Cumberbatch. 'Atonement' was nominated for 7 Oscars and won the BAFTA Best Film Award.

Tour the grounds with their many 'Atonement' locations such as the lake, river, grotto, fountain and lawns. Visit the house and see the Great Hall and 'Atonement' exhibits and have tea and cake in the Dining Room.

The event is raising funds for charities Alzheimer's Research UK and Signal - building deaf friendly communities.

Admission Tickets £10 per person, accompanied under 16s free. Advance bookings only, no tickets available on the day. 

House Tour Ticket £6 per person. A family fun day centered around dogs in the grounds of Stokesay Court, with many attractions to keep everyone delighted and lots of ‘doggy’ stuff throughout the whole day. Entry £4 per adult, children under 16 free (payable on arrival, pre-booking not required). A chance to enjoy the magnificent rhododendrons and walk through the grounds and gardens of Stokesay Court. Visitors will be able to take in new views of the pools now opened up by recent restoration work, which has also improved access to woodland areas and the intimate secrecy of the Grotto. Proceeds to be split between St. Michael’s Onibury and the Shropshire Historic Churches Trust. Tea and home baked cakes, to refresh you, will be available in the Old Kitchen.
